Helmets
Helmets are provided with every rental and their use is strongly recommended. Ukrainian law does not currently require adults to wear a helmet when riding e-bikes or e-scooters, but wearing one significantly reduces the risk of serious injury. We recommend a helmet for every rider, on every ride.
Minimum Age
Riders must be at least 16 years old to rent and operate our e-scooters and e-bikes, in line with the Road Traffic Rules of Ukraine (Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 1306 of 10.10.2001). Riders under 18 must have a parent or guardian accept the rental terms on their behalf.
Where You May Ride
In Kyiv, Odesa and Lviv, ride on bicycle lanes and bicycle paths wherever they are available. Sidewalk riding is permitted only where no bike lane exists, at reduced speed (no faster than walking pace), and pedestrians always have priority. Riding on carriageways is only allowed where cycling is permitted and you are confident riding in traffic. Do not ride in pedestrian zones, parks, or squares where micromobility access is restricted by local signage.
Speed Limits
Observe the general speed limit for individual mobility devices under the Ukrainian Road Traffic Rules: no more than 20 km/h on bike lanes and roads, and walking pace (about 5–7 km/h) when crossing sidewalks or pedestrian areas. Local by-laws in Kyiv, Odesa and Lviv may impose additional restrictions — always follow posted signage.
Rider Obligations
- Keep both hands on the handlebars; do not carry passengers.
- Do not use your phone while riding.
- Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Use lights at night and in poor visibility.
- Park only in permitted areas without blocking pedestrian paths.

Riding e-bikes and e-scooters involves inherent risks, including falls, collisions and injury. By renting, you accept these risks. We provide vehicles in safe working condition, but we do not guarantee your safety, and we are not liable for injuries, fines, or damage arising from your violation of these rules or the Road Traffic Rules of Ukraine. You are responsible for complying with all applicable traffic laws during your rental period.
